Culinary legend Anton Mosimann presents the Prix d'Excellence to the winners at the ceremonial medal award. For the first time, the CULINARIUM ALPINUM Foundation also awards an innovation prize, recognising particularly forward-looking products and ideas from the Alpine region.
The best products
When will the submitted products receive an award?
Bronze medal: 17 points
Silver medal: 18 points
Gold medal: 19 – 20 points
Prix d'Excellence
In each product category, our expert jury awards a «Prix d'Excellence» to a product that has received a gold medal. If 12 or more products have been awarded a gold medal, only those products rated with 20 points can be nominated for the «Prix d'Excellence». The «Prix d'Excellence» is awarded only to products for which a sufficient marketing volume can be guaranteed.
In addition, this year the CULINARIUM ALPINUM Foundation is awarding a prize for the first time to the product that makes the Culinary Heritage of the Alps most innovative and fit for the future.
