The Alpine region has a huge treasure trove of regional products and culinary traditions. It is extremely important to keep these traditions alive, protect and nurture them, and promote sustainable development.
The forum focuses on Alpine agriculture, gastronomy and tourism. In doing so, it aims to build bridges between key drivers of development in the Alpine regions. The Alp'26 forum seeks to further develop the network of stakeholders in the Alpine countries who are interested in cross-border dialogue and exchange. The international forum offers exciting presentations with high practical relevance and workshops in which you can actively participate.
Topic
Enjoyment connects people. This wisdom is particularly true in the Alps, where agriculture, gastronomy and tourism work in close partnership in a unique cultural landscape and are interdependent. The Forum ALP'26 addresses this topic with the following three main questions. These main questions will be explored in the forum using a variety of methods, from presentations from different Alpine countries to workshops, and always with plenty of opportunity for exchange and discussion involving the participants.

How can regional products from the Alpine region be given greater appreciation and thus greater added value in agriculture, gastronomy and tourism?

How can joint sustainability and climate strategies for agriculture, gastronomy and tourism strengthen the Alpine regions with their diverse cultural and natural landscapes?
Topic 3
What educational opportunities, marketing and communication strategies can be used to promote knowledge, understanding and appreciation of cuisine from the Alpine region among locals and visitors?
